Payday lending and customer leasing in Australia might be set for a shake-up, with work to introduce a brand new bill on Monday.
The Liberal Government initially introduced legislation right right back in 2017 that will enforce stricter protections for cash advance clients under then-prime minister Malcolm Turnbull.
This legislation, called the National credit Protection Amendment, has since stalled, aided by the C oalition saying that they might hold back until the banking royal payment to make any modifications.
